We first locked eyes at staff meeting on January 9th, 2024, and ever since that day we said, "Lord if they are to be in my life, let them enter it." Not even a month later we were non-stop texting and chatting falling deeper and deeper in love with each other. Next thing you know Valentine's Day rolled around providing a not so awkward exchange of cookies and chocolate in the Gym. The next Monday we were living every Hooper's Dream, playing basketball with the one who complements our life and not wanting to leave each others' company we explored all the local restaurants and walked the blocks. Each step getting to know each other more and more. The next day we grabbed smoothies and spent the rest of the night playing cards talking about future plans and our beliefs. Ending the night with a simple question, "Will you be my Girlfriend?" Since that timeframe we only grew closer and closer. Exploring nature, combining faith, shooting more hoops, of course, and traveling together. Then what seemed like a normal hiking adventure turned into a night that will never be forgotten. Let us set the scene, on a bridge, over the creek, right at peak sunset time, over the tree line and no one in sight. That is when the buzzer beater was shot and the basket was good (I proposed and she said yes, lol). Since that day, our hearts have not only been falling deeper and deeper into love, but our faith, our future dreams, our goals, and our heart's desires have all been lining up. We cannot wait to celebrate our unity with all our friends and family on 01/02/2025.
