Now we reside in Memphis together! I've had the pleasure of watching her grow as a woman and a mom. Now on her to watch her on the path of becoming a wife is quite amazing. Kierra and I meet on Facebook.We were both expecting at the time and bonded through our common experiences.We were both expecting girls, my Malia and her Gracie Pooh. During my pregnancy I lived on Facebook so Kierra and I communicated constantly.We would take turns telling about or different pregnancy stories and become the best of friends. Since then, we've talked practically everyday for almost six years. It has been an honor to be a part of Kierra's life. I like to tell myself that our camaraderie has played an integral part in the phenomenal woman and mother that she is today. Terry is a good man and has always given me some good advice even when I didn’t always realize it at the time. Terry trademarked the word ‘nigga mane’ and if you’ve never heard him say it do you really know him? Anyway, Terry is a really good dude and I appreciate all the music and life conversations we’ve had over the years.

As kids Terry, Sherman, and I were always competitive in everything we did. If one of us started something we'd all do it too, just to see who was better. There came a point when we all got into baseball . I remember one day we were playing outside, Sherman was pitching hard and Terry kept telling him to stop. He pitched hard again, Terry ducked and the baseball flew through the kitchen window. Everybody knew we that we'd pretty much dug our own graves. Terry and I were innocent (in my eyes), but I had to save myself. I ran in the house, and sat on the couch like I had never been outside. Terry , sadly, did not escape punishment but he was always a real trooper. He never held it against me for leaving him hanging that time or any of the other times as kids. Now, I make sure no matter where I go, I bring Terry with me.

My first time meeting Terry was as my roommate at Mercy College. If I remember correctly I was the first one to get to the room and he shortly arrived after and greeted me with his classic "Wassup mane". From then on we hit it off, from having philosophical conversations to me having to dispel the typical idea people from the south have about new yorkers. Not only is he one of the brightest people I know, he was always a man with a plan whether it was meeting new people, teaching himself to play guitar, putting out books, or getting us involved in the entertainment club. Little does he know he was a big influence on me discovering my passion and getting me out of my comfort zone to really pursue it, and I'll always appreciate bro for that. I'm honored to be apart of one of the biggest moments of his life with starting a family, once again leading the way and executing yet another plan. Much love to you and your new family.
