Steven and Kierra met through online dating in late October 2021. Their first date was spent at Blue Moon Cafe in Bowie, Maryland where nerves made the date an everlasting memory. Due to Kierra's unease for online dating and Steven’s uncanny ability to chill, she showed up a hour late to the cafe, and Steven took a nap in the car. Sparks flew over dinner as they recognized all of their mutual interests and values; From the unconditional love they have for their children and family to music, dance, travel and more. The duo’s chemistry was already growing naturally. They’d decided to continue the evening at a bowling alley close by before realizing Steven’s wallet was missing. The area was scoured and steps were retraced, all while they recounted old stories of lost things. A one-off date from an app turned into what felt like an adventurous scavenger hunt, and they never missed a beat with each other. Needless to say.. Kierra has shown up at least 10 minutes late to everything since, and Steven’s wallet has been lost and found many times over. They were obviously made for each other. Outside of the friendship that keeps this couple going, Kierra's bold and friendly demeanor matches Steven's steadfast calm and poise; they are balanced perfectly. The dual mission to parent the two little ones they have, the love, the trust, and faith in their relationship is what motivates them to bind themselves and their families together.
