Airport

For those flying in, there are two nearby airports and many others in the region: ✈️ Bradley International Airport (BDL) – Located in Windsor Locks, about 1 hour from our venues. Bradley is the largest airport in the area and offers the most flight options and major airline service. ✈️ Tweed–New Haven Airport (HVN) – A smaller airport just 20–30 minutes from our venues. Tweed is very easy to navigate and served by Avelo and Breeze Airways. It’s a great choice for guests traveling from Florida and other East Coast cities, with lots of affordable nonstop flights. ✈️ Boston Logan (BOS) and New York City Airports (especially JFK) – These major hubs are about 2–2.5 hours away by car. While farther, many people find good flight deals into these airports, particularly JFK, and then rent a car or take a train from there. No matter which airport you choose, we’re so excited you’re making the trip and can’t wait to celebrate together!

Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn & Suites North Haven. It’s 10 minutes from the welcome party, Saturday morning events, and after-party, and about 30 minutes from the ceremony and reception venue. On Universal Drive, the hotel is located in a convenient commercial area just off I-91 adjacent to a large shopping and restaurant plaza. While the location is more practical than scenic, it offers easy access to major roadways and nearby towns, making it a comfortable and convenient base for the weekend’s events. A special group rate is available through our block when you use the link below to book or share that you are part of "MULLIGAN-AHERN WED" when booking by phone. Please book by May 17, 2026, when unreserved rooms will be released. While we encourage guests to stay in our block, there are many other hotels and Airbnbs nearby if a different option works better for you. That said, if you would like to stay in our block but are unable to find a room that works for your party, please reach out to us and we can help facilitate expanding the block!

Travel Note

Transportation

Transportation will be provided between the hotel and the ceremony/reception venue for your convenience. The shuttle will depart from the Hampton Inn & Suites North Haven at 4:10 PM to ensure timely arrival for the ceremony. Return transportation will depart the reception venue at the conclusion of the evening. Otherwise, North Haven and the surrounding towns are best navigated by car. Given the close proximity of New Haven, ride-share services are often readily available. However, renting a car when flying into Bradley is also a convenient option.
