Matron of Honor On Land
Brooklyn is the wild to my tame—the kind of friend who brings the energy, the laughs, and the spontaneous adventures. She has a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off her back without a second thought. We met just a couple of years ago, but it feels like we’ve known each other forever. Since then, we clicked instantly and haven’t looked back, and I’m so lucky to have her by my side.
Best Man
Hunter isn’t just one of our best friends—he’s my right-hand man and easily the most charismatic person I know. We’ve been tight since 4th grade, bonding over football, baseball, and plenty of questionable decisions. If I ever got into trouble growing up (and let’s be honest, I did), odds are Hunter was right there with me. He’s been a loyal friend through everything, and I’m lucky to have him standing by my side on the big day.
Matron of Honor At Sea
Taylor is about to become my sister-in-law, but she’s felt like family for years. We met four years ago when she interviewed me for the job I have now—and let’s just say, it was probably the worst interview I’ve ever given. Somehow, she still gave me the job, and we’ve been teaching and coaching track together ever since. Taylor is the definition of spontaneous—absolutely wild in the best way and always a blast to be around. If you ever need a shot (of fun or tequila), she’s your girl.
Groomsman
Kyler might just be the most frustrating person I’ve ever met—but also one of the funniest and most fiercely competitive guys I know. When he first married my sister, let’s just say we didn’t exactly hit it off. But over time, we went from barely getting along to becoming true brothers. These days, I couldn’t imagine doing life—or this wedding—without him. (And let’s be real: besides Hunter, no one loves baseball more than this guy.)
Bridesmaid
Christine is one of the most loving and genuine people you’ll ever meet. She’s full of heart, wears her emotions proudly, and cares deeply for the people in her life. We met four years ago through track and field and have been close ever since. Christine is also fierce, passionate, and just a little bit obsessed with homesteading—in the best way. Together, we’ve made homemade bread, cheese, and plenty of memories (usually over Mexican food). I’m so lucky to have her in my life and standing by my side.
Groomsman
Ryen and I go way back to our high school days—the kind of friend you never forget. He was the wild card in the group, always ready to turn a regular night into a story we’d be telling for years. We’ve shared some unforgettable moments, and I’ve always appreciated the energy and loyalty he brings. Ryen’s always had a big heart and a loyal soul, even when life got a little messy. In recent years, he’s really stepped up and put in the work to grow, and I’ve got a lot of respect for the man he’s becoming. Having him with us on our big day genuinely means more than he probably knows.
Bridesmaid
Alicia is one of those people who instantly makes you feel at home. We met while working summer school at an elementary school, and what started as a casual work connection quickly turned into a deep and lasting friendship—something rare and unexpected. Over the years, we’ve shared bonfires in her backyard, beach days at Waits Lake, and plenty of laughs (and late-night deep talks) in between. Whether we’re playing with her three amazing kiddos or cracking up at the Bored Teachers comedy show, Alicia brings warmth, light, and so much joy into every moment. She’s a ray of sunshine, incredibly easy to talk to, and I feel so lucky to have her in my life and standing by my side.
Groomsman
Jake is my cousin, but more than that, he’s been my ride-or-die since day one. He’s one of the smartest people I know—quiet, but full of good times if you know him. Whether it’s gaming, taking a spin in his electric truck, or hitting the water for some boating, Jake is always down for a good time. We’ve grown up side by side, and I’m proud to have him standing with me on this big day.
