WHAT DO I WEAR?

Answer

Friday: Festive! Wear what makes you feel good. We will be outside so layers are encouraged and heels are not. Saturday: Cocktail attire (no ties necessary). We'll be outside most of the day and night so please prepare for the Fall VT weather. Sunday: Come as you are :)

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Answer

One of the reasons we chose Basin Harbor as a venue is because of how fun it is for the whole family. We encourage you to turn the weekend into a fun family vacation. While our Wedding Reception will be Adults only, we encourage you to bring the full family to our Welcome Party on September 22nd. Please contact the Basin Harbor Concierge (concierge@basinharbor.com) to arrange childcare onsite.

HOW DO I ORGANIZE A BABYSITTER?

We'd love the whole family to join us for this special weekend! If your kids will be joining you, please let the concierge (concierge@basinharbor.com) know and they will help arrange babysitters for the weekend.

WILL I NEED A CAR ON SITE?

Answer

No! Basin Harbor has food and activities on site and golf carts can be rented daily to get around. If a golf cart seems appealing, we recommend booking in advance as they tend to book up.

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT?

Answer

Basin Harbor can arrange transportation to and from the airport and Ubers will pick up at the airport. Please contact the concierge at concierge@basinharbor.com to arrange a shuttle pickup at the BTV airport. Note: Uber will not pick up from Basin Harbor... Ride share hasn't hit all of Vermont just yet!

WHAT DO I DO?!

Answer

Basin Harbor offers lake resort activities and entertainment for every season and every interest. We have guests who are content to just relax, with Lake Champlain as their backdrop. They love to lounge in one of the colorful Adirondack chairs while reading in the beautiful gardens, while others want to take part in the many classes and clinics offered. WHERE CAN I EAT?

Answer

Breakfast is included with your stay (and it's really good!). For any other meals, Basin Harbor has a number of great restaurants including The Red Mill and Ardelia's. There are also some great restaurants in the town of Vergennes: The Black Sheep, 3 Squares, and Hired Hand.
