FAQs

If you have any other questions that are not answered here, please reach out to Kiera or Shawn directly!
Question

What time should I be ready by/ arrive?

Answer

The wedding ceremony starts promptly at 3:30 pm, so we ask that all guests are present and ready to go by 3:15 pm. This will allow enough time to park if needed, get to the ceremony space, and be seated for an on schedule start time.

Question

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

We are asking for our guests to be dressed semi-formal. Get dressed up and have fun! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, weather permitting. Please dress accordingly for the weather. Have fun with colors and patterns though!

Question

Will I be allowed a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited capacity of the venue, not everyone will receive a plus one. It will be indicated on your invitation if you get a plus one. We thank you for understanding and are so excited to see all our closest friends and family on our wedding day!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

This will be a child free wedding. Unless indicated on your invitation that your little one(s) are invited, children will not be in attendance. This will also be a time for those moms and dads to get out, let loose, and party with us!

Question

What do we do in the spare time between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

There is an hour in between the end time of the ceremony and the start time of the cocktail hour. This hour is allotted for pictures of the bride, groom, families, and bridal party. This is so we don’t miss out on all the fun, food, and drinks at cocktail hour and can all be present for it! During this time guests can do whatever they wish! Freshen up in your rooms, play lawn games, kayaking, couple rounds of pickle ball, etc.!

Question

How do I get to the ceremony space?

Answer

Our ceremony is the hillside location, which is the top of the hill to the right of the Birch Cottage. You can either walk up the left side of the hill (please note it is steep and gravel), or the venue also has side-by-sides that the employees will use to drive people to the top of the hill in small groups. If being driven up is more enticing, please allow enough time before the ceremony to get up there and seated, as there may be a wait.
