We met in 2019 while working at Middlewoods of Newington Assisted Living. David worked in the kitchen, Kiera at the front desk. Kiera started working shifts in the kitchen too and on the first day of training, she was supposed to be shadowing Javier (David's cousin). Instead, she decided to "follow David around like a puppy" and got Jav in trouble (sorry Jav lol). All of our coworkers saw that Kiera had a crush on David and they knew he liked her back, so they told Kiera to make a move. One day after David worked a long and tiring double shift, Kiera texted him and asked him if he wanted to go on a date...to the gym. David had no choice but to say yes despite being tired after work, so we went and have pretty much been inseperable ever since. We started dating in December 2019, and then moved in to an apartment together in July of 2020. In May 2023, we took an amazing trip to Utah and David proposed in the middle of Zion National Park, a place Kiera has wanted to visit forever. And now here we are, getting married in November 2025!
