We're gettin' hitched!

Like most youths of the day, Jake & I met on the dating app Hinge - not exactly the most exciting, organic, meet-cute story. But, it did the trick! Our first date had us both feeling fine, happy to go on a second date, but in no huge rush to. But then, Jake didn't take no for an answer when I (Abby) said I didn't have time before their holiday plans to go on our second date, and he drove up to Carlsbad from San Diego to take me to dinner "for no longer than an hour". "No longer than an hour" turned into about 6, with both of us getting home well past 12am from a simple dinner. A month later, we hit the slopes on our first ski trip together in Utah where Jake asked me to be his girlfriend. The rest of our story filled with countless travels (3 countries, countless cities), laughs, new experiences (a favorite being dogsledding in Canada), love, and now, MARRIAGE! We can't thank God enough for bringing us each other and feel so blessed that we get to choose to do life together. Our story may soon take us on a 4-year international adventure - stay tuned!
