Question

Are there COVID-19 policies in place?

Answer

Please be advised these guidelines may change based on the restrictions in our area. We will keep you up to date with new information. We are requiring proof of vaccination or negative test for attendance for the health and safety of all our guests. Proof of vaccination can be emailed to fournierwedding@outlook.com We ask that unvaccinated family and friends, please provide a proof of negative covid test 2 days prior to the wedding. Masks must also be worn for those unvaccinated unless eating or drinking.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The wedding party will be in formal wedding attire, and is optional for all guests. Formal attire can include, but is not limited to, a classic suit, tux, or shirt and tie, a floor-length gown, cocktail dress, pantsuit, or dressy separates. We want all our guests to be comfortable for the duration of the evening.

Where should I park?

Answer

Parking is available directly adjacent to the Bond Ballroom at the Pro Park Parking Lot at 300 ASYLUM STREET, HARTFORD CT, 06103. A parking code and hotel parking information is located on the Travel page of our website.

Once I arrive, where should I go?

Answer

The Bond Ballroom is a venue of the Bond Residences. You will enter the venue from the street entrance. Then, please follow the signs to the ceremony space, down the hall on the left. Just past the ceremony room, on your left, is the coat check area. The ceremony and cocktail hour are both located on the first floor. The reception is in the ballroom on the eleventh floor. Each party will be called up to the ballroom following cocktail hour to prevent crowded elevators.

How might weather impact the day?

Answer

Winter weather in New England is always unpredictable. In the case of inclement weather, please be mindful of your travel plans. Parking is available on site, as well as a coat check. The ceremony and reception will take place at the same venue so travel between wedding events will not be necessary. If you are staying at either hotel, parking information is provided on the travel page of our website. Transportation to and from the Goodwin hotel will be provided. The Capitol Hotel will not have travel accommodations but is within a 5 minute walk of the venue.

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

I have dietary restrictions, what should I do?

Answer

We will be able to accommodate special dietary needs with advanced notice. Please include any restrictions in the space provided on your RSVP card.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We ask that you please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony as we will have professionals working to capture the moment. Following the ceremony, at the cocktail hour, reception, etc, we do encourage guests to take and/or post pictures. Our only request is that you tag photos with our wedding hashtag #thisJUSTINkiesmarried so we can easily find any pictures taken and enjoy the memories.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

We have reserved a hotel block at two of the closest hotels to the venue, The Capitol Hotel (440 Asylum St, Hartford, CT 06103) and the Goodwin Hotel (1 Haynes St, Hartford, CT 06103). Both hotels are within 5 minute walking distance of the venue. The Travel page has more details regarding hotel blocks. If neither of these locations suit you, the Hartford area has many available places to stay. Please do not drink and drive.
