He encouraged me to try new things and fight through my anxiety. He was the rock of our family, and brought us all together in times of need. He is someone I miss dearly and my life hasn’t been the same since his passing. Now, he is my guardian angel and protector. He is with me and will be walking me down the isle on my wedding day in spirit. 💚

JJ is always the life of the party where ever we go, always so loud and hilarious. It makes me happy to see him accomplish so much in life, moving across the country and fighting wildfires for a living, it makes me proud to be your best friend & brother.

Best friends since 9th grade! She was my saving grace upon transferring schools in the middle of the semester. Once we became friends, we became inseparable until we graduated! Every weekend we had sleepovers, where she went I went and vice versa. She became apart of my family, and now I don’t know where I’d be in life without her.

Besties since the beginning!! When we moved to Grand Rapids in 2005, I started 3rd grade at Marshall elementary. I met Colleen on the play ground that year, but it wasn’t until 4th grade when we truly connected. We were placed in the same 4th grade class room with Mr. Ferguson (a.k.a. The greatest teacher of all time!!) and our seats were at the same table. We became so close and did everything together! She lived about 2 miles away from our house so we would get together on the weekends, jump on the trampoline, swim in the pool, and make dance routines to Fergalicious! We were on the same cheer team for many years, went to prom together, and everything in between! She truly has been my rock over the years, and I wouldn’t be the same without her!
