What should I expect?

Exuma is laid-back, sunny, and beautiful - all wedding events will be outdoors, so plan for heat, ocean breezes, and relaxed island vibes. Shade will be available at each location. Things may move a little slower than you're used to - “Island Time” is real!

Cost & Currency

Answer

Flights & accommodations are at your own expense. When meals are not provided, expect meals to be more expensive than in the U.S. Taxi to and from airport: $30 (2 people)-$70 (10 people). Designated taxis will be arranged for Wednesday & Thursday pick-up and Sunday & Monday drop-off. All wedding event transportation is provided complimentary to and from Augusta Bay & February Point. Visa cards are accepted at most places on the island but we recommend also bringing cash. Do not rely on using cash machines. American Express is not widely used.

Many people choose to purchase travel insurance for trip interruption and medical needs/evacuation. Some choices are: your credit card, airline, GeoBlue, Allianz & Travelguard. For medical evacuation, Tropic Air Rescue is a popular choice and offers a daily membership for transport to Florida.
