Bridesmaid
Ashley and I have been friends since elementary school. She was even part of the infamous hot dog tragedy of 3rd grade! Ask Ashley for the full story she loves to tell it! Through everything Ashley has been a constant friend through my life and we are so excited to have her be part of our day!
Bridesmaid
We "met" at a high school party and became fast friends. I mean like really fast! After talking and hanging out for a long time we discovered that we had actually played soccer together as children. Small world! We ended up living together and came up with the best brussels sprout pizza recipe! We will take our friendship full circle when she stands next us at our wedding. (aka another party)
Bridesmaid
We met when we moved into the same house in college. Something that could be awkward turned into one of the most meaningful relationships of my life. She is the best travel buddy, keeps me from being too serious, and pushes me out of my comfort zone. We are so excited that she will be with us on our special day!
Bridesmaid
We met at mayflower dorm in Iowa City freshman year of college. I was just visiting but Nicole made me feel so welcome! We ended up moving in together and living there for three years! Those years flew by but the memories will stay forever! Pumpkin carving parties, Tailgates, Friendsgivings, and mug nights at brothers! I am so happy to have a life long friend like her and we are so thrilled to have her be part of our wedding day!
Best Man
Derek and Ryan became great friends after unfortunate circumstances with Derek's Audi and Golden Draak. After Ryan became his chauffeur to hockey their friendship grew into what it is today nearly 12? years later. Yelling at each other over a game of Risk, followed immediately by rooting for the Hawks or the Blues. Every summer we enjoy the best week ever together on RAGBRAI, and you can routinely see us on the bike trails together in the spring and summer. Derek has been there for a lot of wild things in my life - he is itching to share it all! Just keep it PG, buds. My favorite memory of Derek is our first Blues game together when we found out our tickets were not only all you can eat, but also all you can drink. We then proceeded to drink.
Groomsman
You know how everyone has the little devil and angel on their shoulder? George is that angel. Always a heart of gold, George is that friend everyone wants. Which is why he's always in weddings, and absolutely adores weddings. We met at hockey, naturally, and have played together since. We coached together for 5 years which has taken us to Minnesota, Illinois, Nebraska and throughout Iowa getting our asses kicked. The best quality of George is his new dog, Spots. My favorite memory of George is either being naked in Colorado, or the fights that happened in roller hockey. Or him recommending Asian cuisine - its always spot on.
Groomsman
Tanner, or T-Money as Ryan calls him, and I have been friends since high school. Not entirely sure how we met, or when, I just remember it was at good ole Valley High. We'd always hit up the Y and play basketball or lift weights. He went into the Navy right out of high school, so hanging out together has been pretty limited. However whenever we get back together it's like nothing has changed. My favorite memories of T are either skipping school to go see Biggs, or, meeting up in Vegas with his then girlfriend, Noodle & John for one hell of a weekend that we'll never forget.
