Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place at Boxwood Estate in Mocksville, North Carolina. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside on the lawn, and the reception will be in a tent on the property.

How should I get to and from the venue?

Answer

We want you all to be able to have a fun night of celebrating, so we have arranged for shuttles to run between the venue and the hotels at the end of the night (for more information on hotels, please visit the travel tab). There will be one shuttle (60 person capacity) taking people to the venue. It will arrive at the hotels at 3:15 and will depart for the venue at 3:45. Additionally, Boxwood has ample parking, and it will be open on Sunday if you choose to park your car overnight. There will be multiple shuttles running through out the night to bring people back to the hotels as there will be no Ubers available to take you home. All cars left overnight must be picked up by noon on Sunday.

What time should I arrive?

Our wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30. Please arrive no later than 4:20, as the venue gates will lock at 4:25 until the end of the ceremony.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is black-tie optional. This means you can choose between either black-tie attire or formal wear. Men, we ask that you wear either a tuxedo or dark-colored, formal suit and tie. Ladies, please wear an evening gown, a formal gown, or a midi or floor-length cocktail dress. Please refrain from wearing white, light blue, khakis, or jeans.

Answer

We have decided to have an adults-only wedding celebration, and we encourage you to use this as an opportunity for a date night. If you need recommendations for a sitter in the area, please reach out.
