The downtown Wilmington riverwalk is a peaceful area along the Cape Fear River.
The Copper Penny
$10-$15 As seen on TV, this is a great Downtown Wilmington eatery featuring basic American cuisine done well.
The Blind Elephant
Secret speakeasy. Go down the right-hand alley beside Front Street Brewery. If the dark, wooden elephant sign is hanging above the stairs you may enter. Enjoy.
The Mailbox at Wrightsville Beach
If you decide to go on a long walk on the beach, like Allison and Josh did in their early dating-days, remember to leave a memory in the mailbox at Wrightsville Beach.

The Fork 'N' Cork
$10-$15. What used to be a food truck is now a great burger joint! It's also located directly adjacent to Josh's first employer.
Bellamy Mansion Museum
$12 Old southern plantation house. Yes, of course it's haunted.
Hugh MacRae Park
Pine trees galore. Nice urban park in the middle of town.
Northern Regional Park at Castle Hayne
A nice park north of town. Includes a championship-level disc golf course. Only relevant to those who disc (you know who you are).
Mayfaire Town Center
Best shopping area in town. Includes a movie theater designed by the groom's architecture firm.
Cardinal Lanes Shipyard
Cheap bowling. Old warped lanes, slight smokey smell, heavily-used balls - everything you remember from your 10th birthday party. It's great!
Wilmington Railroad Museum
$10 Choo Choo! Baby Josh frequented this museum often. There is a massive model train display to look at.
North Carolina Aquarium At Fort Fisher
$13 The Fort Fisher Aquarium is chill. Josh had his high school prom here.
Flaming Amy's Bowl SHIPYARD
$10 Put whatever you want in a bowl and a hibachi chef will grill it up for you. Did I mention it's all-you-can-eat?!
Civil War Museum
Free (suggested donation) View the site of a civil war battle at Fort Fisher. Allison says there are *can-yons here (*cannons).
Gravity Records
Record store in a "hip" part of town. Located just outside the downtown area near coffee shops and other eateries.
Rx Restaurant and Bar
$15-$30 A great farm-to-table restaurant using only local ingredients. This is one of Allison's favorite Wilmington restaurants.
Kure Beach Pier
Allison and Josh like to walk on this pier during the late hours of the night.
