We met at CrossFit Wicked as acquaintances and then in 2015 when Shannon started coaching classes the relationship started to blossom. Shannon would help out at the 9am class that Richard would frequently attend. Shannon started flirtatiously locking eyes with Richard during workouts and was instantly attracted to his motivation, hard-work and persistence. After securing a job at Havas Media in March of 2015, Richard slid in Shannon's DMs and the rest was history. A year into the relationship we moved into Rich's apartment on Vine Street in Everett and started our journey together. Road trips out West grew our relationship as we picked up new passions and hobbies. In 2017 our fur baby Winter brought a new member to the family, creating a new bond for us. 2019 was a year of amazing changes for us. In June of 2019 during our east to west coast road trip Richard popped the question in Yosemite Valley by Merced River. It was a moment of happiness that we will cherish forever. Shortly after in September of 2019 we closed on our dream home in West Newbury, MA. The choice to get married in Jackson Hole, WY stemmed from our 2019 road trip where we fell in love with the Grand Teton National Park; with the amazing sunsets, breathtaking mountains, enjoyable hikes, delicious food and so much more! Since we got engaged in a National Park, getting married in one only seemed appropriate.
