Question

Did I read that right, the wedding is in Phoenix, Arizona?

Answer

You sure did! Due to our families and friends living in multiple states, we were bound to have at least some of our loved ones travel for the festivities no matter where we chose to celebrate. On the bright and sunny side, by choosing Arizona, we are (almost) guaranteed to have great weather! We understand that by having a destination type wedding location that some of our loved ones may not be able to attend. We are sincerely sorry that you aren't able to make it, but we absolutely understand. We hope to celebrate with you in the near future!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we have not specifically added any children to the guest list, we understand that with the travel required to attend our wedding that our invited guests may need to bring their children with them to join in on the festivities. If your child/children will be attending the weekend's events with you, please contact Tiffany or Briar and we will update your RSVP numbers to include any children that will be in attendance.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are asking everyone to please RSVP by April 18th at the latest. We have to provide a final headcount for events and we want to make sure to account for everyone that is planning to celebrate with us!

How should I get to Phoenix?

Answer

The easiest (and quickest) travel option would be a domestic airplane flight. The closest airport is the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). The Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA) is also a nearby option at about a 60 minute drive to Phoenix and a 90 minute drive to the wedding venue. When preparing to fly, please check all guidelines for appropriate identification requirements.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have set up a hotel block with Hampton Inn & Suites Phoenix North/Happy Valley that is offering discounted rates for wedding guests. Hotel rooms can be booked until April 9th, but room availability is subject to hotel availability. Please book your rooms as soon as possible to ensure availability! Afraid that you might need to alter your reservation between now and May? Reservations can be altered or cancelled until 48 hours prior to check-in.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered directly through the Zola website as well as Amazon. We already have lots of basic home items, so you may see some more non-traditional items that we would love to add to our home to enhance our lives.

How should I get to The Venue at Chilleens?

Answer

You have options! - You may drive yourself (or carpool!) and park at the venue. There is parking available for wedding attendees. - Additionally, there will be a shuttle available before and after the wedding that will pick up and drop off at Hampton Inn & Suites Phoenix North/Happy Valley. - DO NOT rely on using Uber, Lyft, or other ride share options. We have been told that ride share companies tend to decline rides to and from the venue due to the mileage between there and Phoenix. - Whatever option you do choose, please plan ahead and travel safely to and from!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The venue will allow people to begin entering at 4:30pm to find their seats for the festivities and the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. If you have arrived to the venue after the ceremony has begun, we kindly ask that you refrain from entering the venue until the ceremony has concluded. We will still welcome you with open arms and smiles to join us for the reception.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

The dinner menu items at the wedding venue are already dairy and gluten free! For any other dietary restrictions, please make a note on your RSVP. Modifications will be made to the best of our ability.
