Bride: My friend Amanda threw me a 24th Birthday party at her house. She’d invited the guy she was dating at the time and his 2 friends. Frank was one of those friends!! He was certainly the good looking, quiet type and after we were introduced, we stayed up all night, talking, laughing and getting to know one another. We ended our first meeting in the morning, slow dancing by my car to Michael Buble. We became pretty inseparable after that. Groom: Appearances can be deceiving. When I first saw Kira she was wearing a leather jacket, maroon shirt, jeans and calf-high boots. Her hair was straight and half way down her back, and cat-eye makeup was top notch. She was astonishing. At first, I thought she was out of my league and did not think she wanted to talk to a scrub like me, but over time I realized how cool and down to earth she was, and could share my feelings with her. And still today she surprises me, I love looking at her, and her personality warms my heart.
#LADYPROPOSAL So after telling him years ago that marriage may not be for me, I had a big surprise planned for our 12 year anniversary! Which he never saw coming...... (Although he’d say differently) We started with a nice lunch out with decadent desserts at a lavish restaurant, followed by a trip down memory lane, with a photo filled treasure hunt around a lovely lake area. The treasure being an elaborate Mario question box filled with rings! (Video game reference) Thankfully, I had 3 great friends secretly helping me to pull it all off... dropping the picture clues all around the park for us to find. And lastly, Luna loved ending the surprise for me by popping the question on her sign for Daddy! Now we're so excited to celebrate this chapter in our lives with you all. See you at the WEDDING!!
