You should be able to arrive at the ceremony between 4:30pm-4:45pm at the The Stateview Hotel. Ceremony will be starting at 5pm. If you arrive late, we will ask for you to please wait until the ceremony is over to reduce any distractions.
The theme for the dress code is summer garden party attire. We will be asking for everyone to dress semi-formal. Women can wear colorful dresses or sundresses, and men can wear button up shirts/polo/cotton shirt with linen pants or dress pants.
Yes, there’s free parking at the Stateview Hotel (ceremony and reception)
No there is no transportation to and from the Stateview Hotel. Please coordinate a head of time with getting a ride from a friend/family or get a rental car if you are staying for the wedding weekend.
If you have a food allergy or a diet restriction, then please let us know ASAP as we are finalizing the food menu for the reception
We may be doing a get together at the Stateview Hotel on Friday night after we have the rehearsal dinner. We are planning to meet at the bar in the lobby around 9pm. If you want to meet up with us, please contact Kathy Gravely (Kiaya’s aunt), Arlene Parker (Will’s aunt), and April Golden (family friend) for more information. On Sunday morning, we are looking to have brunch at the hotel or at a restaurant. We will try to confirm and update as soon as we have more information. These two events would be a great way to see me and Will before the wedding weekend gets busy and before we go on our honeymoon.
After the ceremony, we will be asking for everyone to leave to head to the cocktail hour down the hall in the Stateview Hotel as we will be busy taking pictures with bridal party and won’t have time to talk to everyone. We are going to be hosting a cocktail hour at the Stateview Hotel between 6pm-7pm. Please follow the signs that direct to the cocktail hour room. We will begin the reception right at 7pm.
We will be allowing anybody who wants to give a speech to the bride/groom during dinner. Please be respectful during your speech
We understand that things come up, especially on the day of. We do ask that you kindly send a message to Kathy Gravely (Kiaya’s aunt), Arlene Parker (Will’s aunt), and April Golden (family friend) as we don’t our phones to be blowing up on the day of the wedding. Yes, we will be serving alcohol as we want everyone to have a good time. If you don’t drink alcohol, then no worries. Please know that you will need cash to buy water, sweet tea, and lemonade
yes, we do have one on this website. We will also be providing our QR codes for Venmo, CashApp, and Apple Pay during the reception if you don’t want to provide a physical gift. We appreciate any kind of gifts!
