FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is garden party formal. We request that men wear suits (black or dark-colored suits are okay) and women wear dresses in bright or pastel colors or pastel floral prints (No black or dark-colored dresses). Please avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride or close to them, such as whites, ivories, and creams (excluding men's dress shirts). If you're unsure of what to wear, reach out to the bride or check out this Pinterest page for ideas: https://pin.it/7IX1htNsO

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony (no phones or cameras). We will have professionals to capture the moment, and the greatest gift you can give is being fully present when we say "I do". Before and after the ceremony, you can take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We will be outdoors for both the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We recommend bringing a pair of sunglasses for during the day and a jacket for the evening.

Question

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know asap if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions.

Question

What is the plan for ceremony?

Answer

We are projecting guests to arrive at the ceremony site as early as 4:30 pm, with the ceremony starting at 5:00 pm. Guests will be shuttled from their accommodations to the ceremony site. Guests will be seated at benches for the ceremony. The ceremony will be held outdoors among the redwood trees with partial sun/shade so be sure to bring a pair of sunglasses and a light jacket.
