Kiara and Hans met the modern way: by swiping right on OkCupid in 2020. Dating during the early days of the pandemic required them to be creative so their first date was a socially distanced walk in Prospect Park. They couldn't get enough of each other and they continued to meet for many more socially distanced dates. A few of Kiara and Hans's favorite memories from their time together: Painting their Brooklyn apartment bedroom blue, dressing up with their cat Matilda for Halloween, taking walks together, and lots of trips to the beach. Hans had the ring and was ready to propose to Kiara in Prospect Park, where they had their first date, but his plans were delayed by Kiara's love of staying home. When he finally got her to the park under the guise of roller skating Hans got down on one knee! The ring was presented, hugs and kisses were shared, and it was an amazing experience. Kiara and Hans are so excited for you to join them as they say "I do" at their wedding in July of 2023. See you soon!
