The wedding ceremony & reception will be held at The Rusty Star Barn in Nicktown PA. Our venue's address is, 298 Fred Bechel Ln, Nicktown, PA 15762. Once you arrive, you'll see signage directing you to the venue & designated parking! The venue address will also be located on your wedding invitation & here on our website under the “schedule” tab!
Our evening ceremony will be outdoors. While grazing hour and the reception will take place indoors. Guests will walk to the ceremony in a grass field. There’s a paved landing around the barn itself. There’s paved stairs to the barn from the ceremony, but can access one level entrance, around the front or sides of the barn. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.

We’re having a barn wedding. The attire will be dressy casual. Think nice sundresses & sandals, dressy rompers, and two-piece sets for women, and nice boots & jeans, khakis, button-downs, flannels and polo shirts for men. Dress nicely for comfort & fun!
No, we have not reserved blocks of rooms. Majority of our friends & family are local. Out-of-town guests will need to arrange a room to stay that best accommodates them. However, we’ve provided 4 different hotel location & addresses near by. You can locate these hotels under the “travel” tab on our website!
Yes, for our single folks, please include your plus one if attending, when submitting your RSVP!
Yes, our wedding ceremony & reception will be family friendly. All children MUST be SUPERVISED. There is a pond on the venue premises. There’s also some fenced in animals on site too! Please be sure to list the total number of children on your RSVP if attending! Don’t hesitate to have a date night away from children too!
No, there will not be an open bar. Reception will be BYOB (Bring your own beer). We kindly ask NO LIQUOR. Drink of our choice will be provided for toast!
No, We kindly ask that you keep our wedding ceremony "UNPLUGGED" and refrain from taking any photos or videos at our wedding ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day. We’ve hired a professional photographer to capture the special moments throughout the day.
Your presence is our greatest gift! We have everything we need, so please don't feel obligated to bring a gift. If you wish to contribute, we're focused on building our dream home for our children to grow. Instead of traditional wedding gifts, we've created a 'house fund' to help us achieve this goal. Your contribution, big or small, will be greatly appreciated.
