Our love story started at P.F. Chang’s, where we worked together for years and somehow never spoke. Same shifts, same place, zero sparks. Apparently, the universe needed time to build suspense. Not going to lie I sent very mixed signals at the beginning. I was very unsure when he asked me out the first time and was so nervous I just walked away. He asked to give me his number and I again was so hesitant I said ehhh I don’t know about that and walked away. He was persistent and tried one more time and I said yes finally. (He just knew I was the one from the beginning! 😁 ) From that moment on we could not stop talking. Well, I couldn't stop talking. Our first real date turned into hours we did not want it to end, and being with him immediately felt safe, calm, and easy. It felt like home before I even knew how to explain it. Weeks later, in the rain, I accidentally said, “I love you.” and he stayed. From our first kiss, the world went quiet, and I knew my heart was his. Things moved fast after that. We moved in together, bought a house, and were very quickly surprised with the biggest plot twist of all, our beautiful baby boy. We have had plenty of laughs, many tears, and definitely some moments where we both needed snacks and a nap. Through it all, we kept choosing each other. Now we are still learning, still growing, and still falling in love with each other every day. He is my calm, my safe place, and the love of my life. I cannot wait to marry him and keep building this beautiful, slightly chaotic life together.
