El Malecón
A vibrant strip along the ocean with plenty of restaurants and sometimes vendors who sell handmade items. Also a great place to watch a gorgeous sunset.
Playa Negra (Black Sand Beach)
There is a parking area a few feet further and on the opposite side of the entrance to the beach. There is a 15-20 minute walk along a trail which is a stream when it rains, so it might be tricky to walk. After the trail, you will be rewarded with a breath-taking view of the beautiful black sand.
Playa Sun Bay
With a camping site at the entrance and palm trees on the beach, this beach also has numerous roaming horses grazing in its fields.
