What should I wear?
Answer
Welcome Party: Dressy Casual. If Kiana was a guest, she would wear a sun dress. If Tyler was a guest, he would wear shorts and a button down. Ceremony and reception: Formal/Garden Party. If Kiana was a guest, she would wear a full or midi length dresses or nice jumpsuit. If Tyler were a guest, he would wear a suit and tie, or his tux! Color and prints are encouraged! The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside, so please plan your footwear accordingly.

Why Tennessee?
Answer
We wanted to get married somewhere in the mountains where we could spend more than just one evening with our friends and family. After searching far and wide, we fell in love with a venue that was perfect for the outdoor adventure we imagined!

Where should I stay?
Answer
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Courtyard Marriott in Boone, NC, which is the closest town and about half an hour away. There are also airbnbs in the area. Check out our Travel page for details!

Will transportation be available?
Answer
Yes, because Ubers in the area are sparse, we will have a shuttle bus for the ceremony and reception on Saturday. The shuttle will leave the Courtyard Mariott in Boone at 4:30pm sharp! The venue also has parking, so if you prefer, you are also welcome to drive/carpool with a designated driver.

What should I know about the venue?
Answer
Sugar Hollow Retreat is an over 300-acre property with hiking trails, amazing mountain views, and river access for kayaking or fishing. Cell service is spotty, but all of the buildings and homes on the property have wifi. The area is remote, the roads are narrow and dirt. We recommend renting a car with four wheel drive so you feel as comfortable as possible, though most cars will not have an issue. If you aren’t a confident driver, we recommend carpooling or taking the shuttle. Although we think this place is incredible and would love to share it with all of our guests, we understand this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea!

Yes, we are happy for you to bring your little ones, however there will not childcare provided onsite.

Answer
