Maid of Honor
Ana and I go so far back, that our moms were best friends years before the two of us were even a thought! Ana is not only my cousin, but she is also my rock, my right hand woman, and the person who encourages me to pursue almost every idea that pops into this crazy mind of mine. I knew from the very beginning that I wanted Ana to be my maid of honor, I couldn’t picture this day without her being by my side. I honestly think she is one of the only people that can truly keep me calm, and make sure I don’t become a “bridezilla.” I am forever thankful to have such an amazing person in my life!
Best Man
Though he may be the newest edition to the list, Jalen quickly became my most reliable, outside of Kiana. Jalen and I met in 2022 while working for Bowlero, both as shift leads. We quickly hit it off and became really good friends, even bowling on the same team every year since. Jalen and I weren’t like a Batman and Robin, neither of us were the sidekick. We were more like Kendrick and Drake, or Kobe and Lebron. Jalen being Drake and Lebron both of which his idols, and me, of course, being the Kdot and Kobe, the actual GOATs. Regardless, Jalen is one of a kind, and a true brother. Jalen’s favorite memory is us working at Bowlero and us auditioning for Big Brother. I 100% agree with him there.

Daphne is the sweetest chick you’ll ever meet! I met Daphne in high school during an after school theater meeting. At the time Daph had bubble gum pink hair and the sharpest winged eyeliner I had seen on a person. Us two hit it off instantly, and bonded over “trashy” reality television, anime, and a passion for music. Daph is always quick with a joke and brightens up any room she’s in! I’ve never met anyone quite like her, and she’s someone I hold near and dear to my heart! Fun fact about Daph, she designed one of my tattoos for me. I know I can rely on Daphne for anything, whether it’s a laugh or her breaking down the dimensions of a tv stand for me! I’m beyond excited to have Ms. Daph be apart of this journey, and I thank her so strongly in advance for answering all my art related questions during this process, love you so much!

“Oh boy my turn!” -Tyler anytime it’s his turn to choose the drop in Fortnite. Time for the rollercoaster that is Tyler and Mason. Fun fact about us, we did not like each other for the longest time because I thought he didn’t like me and he thought I didn’t like him. Follow up fact, that was wrong and now we’re pals! From bowling youth league and gaming to bowling adult league and gaming, not much has really changed. Tyler and I have known each other for over a decade. In that time we have spent countless hours hanging out vibing to music, gaming, goofing off, and building an amazing friendship. We have had ups and downs, but we find our way back always. Tyler and I have the same favorite memory and that is when Brandon Ortiz (shout out Dad) kicked my phone over the counter at cookout when I jokingly tossed it over my shoulder.

“If you ever need anyone to go to court and testify for you, I’d do it. Even if you’re guilty, I’d tell the judge I never saw a thing.” Angel and I have a bond like no other. From watching silly videos on YouTube together, to eating Asian cuisine and spending hours gossiping with one another, we two are thick as thieves! Angel is the walking embodiment of a ride or die friend. If you know Angel, you know she is not a fan of wearing dresses, and she typically doesn’t wear anything other than neutral colors. To be one of the only people she would make an exception for on both of these is not just an honor, but something I will always be grateful for. Angel always knows just what to say to make me laugh when I’m stressed out, even if it’s just her sending me a picture of her dog Paco. I’m so thankful to have her by my side to help keep a smile on my face in high times of stress.

Kai, James, Ashes…even Arty 😏😂 I have seen my friend through every name. But one thing that has stood the name changes is how we always pick back up like it’s only been a day. Whether it’s been a week or 6 months, yes 6 months, we never seem to miss a beat. From remembering how we became friends, me almost getting nailed by a car, to our inside jokes like sober man. Kai has always been like my personal therapist and comedian, truly a unique man. Kai’s favorite memory was all the times I’d come hang out and we’d game. Everything from Half Life and Portal to GTA5. Mine is for sure when we would just get off the bus and start wandering the neighborhood and talking about everything and nothing. Both in middle and high school.

Ana and I meet at work about a year ago. After a conversation with one of their regular customers, we discovered that we are in fact, blood related cousins! We bonded over our shared love for musical theatre, glee, and the opportunity to vocally express our desire to be anywhere but work. Ana is one of the few people that I could send a tik tok to in the wee hours of the morning and know that, it will get watched, and we will most likely be quoting it for the next week or so! I know Ana has my back through anything. I don’t even have to ask her for help, because she’s already quick to jump on board and get to work on what project I’m working on is! I’m so happy to have someone like Ana in my life and by my side on this big day!

Meet Andrew Chinea, the new hire. That’s right, I said the new hire, as in Drew was my first hire as manager at Bowlero Lynnhaven. He quickly became one of my favorite people, especially over the last 2 years. From deep talks to non stop laughter and confusion, he always delivers. Drew and I aren’t knights of the round table, more like jesters of the kiddy table. Put him and I together and it is nothing but cringe and laughter, mainly because he’s a Giants fan 😬😂. Drew’s favorite memory is the first Tides game we went to when someone tried to bully me out of my lane while driving, and Drew kept flicking his tongue at the guy until he backed down. Mine is ironically the second Tides game we went to when it poured down on us in the 7th inning and then we watched fireworks.

There are so many kind words I could say about Bella! She is one of the most genuinely kind hearted and beautiful people I know! Our dads have been friends for many years, and Bella is like a cousin to me! Bella is such a positive and warm person to be around! While we both have very busy schedules, I always look forward to our lunch dates together, because I know that we can talk about anything and everything under the sun with no judgment! I really admire the way Bella is constantly in good spirits, and has the ability to look at things from a very logical and positive perspective. Bella is such a hardworking and talented person, and I am beyond grateful to have such a creative person by my side during this time.

Dad. Perfectly describes Ricky. I knew of Ricky from bowling surprise surprise. He was a youth bowler and worker, but was in the older division. I didn’t really know him well until he moved back to the beach. But am I glad to have built a friendship with Rick. Through the years he has been someone I can rely on, whether it was advice, a vent sesh, or just to game and goof off, he has always came through. With that said, a common theme here, my stubbornness has for sure caused a few issues, but no harm no foul 😅. But here we are, forever and always BIG JABRONIS! Ricky’s favorite memory is us winning Power Trios league. Mine is him telling me to “Put my f**king hand down” after he went strike strike 3 count ❤️😂

If you ever come into Starbucks while MacKenzie and I are working together, I can guarantee that you will be greeted with laughter and a warm welcome! MacKenzie “best friend” and I meet through work, and clicked instantly. She is the embodiment of the phrase “never a dull moment.” Mackenzie is one of the most hard working, kindest, and dedicated people I have ever met. I view MacKenzie as a little sister, she is constantly trying to put a smile on my face, whether it be from a pun that’s she’s thought of to perfectly fit the situation, or making a reference to a random tik tok video, I know the two of us will be trying to catch our breath from laughing so hard. While the two of us have only known each other for a short period of time, I am so happy to have MacKenzie in my life. I would also like to take a moment to say CONGRATULATIONS MACKENZIE ON GETTING INTO UVA, MASON AND I ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!

What’s going on guys it’s ya boi JayyDaGawd! Now on to my true longest tenured friendship, Jason. From preps to pals, we have seen it all, literally. Jay and I started our friendship as small hot headed children bowling at AMF Lynnhaven, now he’s small with a normal head, and I’m big with a massive head. We then went to school together at Landstown middle and high, then went on to work together at Lynnhaven. Still into adulthood we have spent countless nights gaming, bowling, and getting cookout into the wee hours of the morning. Jason’s favorite memory is us at travel league finals when I slide the 10 pin to the 8.5 spot on front 10. Mine is celebrating his first 300 by me lifting him in the air like a proud parent.
