We're getting married!

We both grew up in Nipomo and went to the same middle school and high school. Daniel was a grade ahead of me. We knew of each other but never really spoke, well besides our cringy facebook messages from 2011. When I moved back from Oregon in 2018, we talked everyday and have been inseparable since.

We were at our third Beer Fest together, which is an annual festival that takes place at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, California. Daniel's band, The Silvertongues, has headlined the show every year since we met besides 2020 and 2021, because of covid. The first Beer Fest we attended together was very early on in our relationship and was very memorable for us as a couple. So this time around, he and his band played "I Feel Warm" as the last song of their set, which is a song Daniel wrote about me. Once he was finished with the song, he jumped down from the stage. He then proceeded to get on one knee and propose in front of thousands of people. Of course, I sad "YES!"
