Brittney and the bride met in 10th grade and have been friends for over 13 years. The two ladies have a special bond as they have transitioned from teenagers to adults together. Brittney shares the bride's love for DIY projects and binge watching Netflix series. Brittney started her job as Matron of Honor day 1 of the engagement! She has always been a big fan of the bride and groom's relationship. Brittney can't wait to see the bride go from Ms. to Mrs.
Maid of Honor
Ameika is the bride's younger sister. A fun fact that Ameika and the bride like to share is that their age difference is exactly 1 year, 1 month, and 1 day. The bride and Ameika enjoying watching YouTube tutorials and trying new make up looks. Ameika is excited to be the bride's Maid of Honor and is looking forward to fulfilling her duties from now up until the day of the wedding.

Jaze'Myn is the youngest sister of the groom. The bride and Jaze'Myn have bonded over similar life experiences, to include attending the same university. The bride views Jaze'Myn as a bonus little sister and appreciates her aunthenticity. Jaze'Myn eagerly accepted her role as Maid of Honor and has been a good source for the bride to bounce ideas off of. Jaze'Myn is looking forward to seeing the bride and groom take the next step in their lives.

Bredae and the bride were college roommates. They have been friends for over 10 years. During their time in college they practically did everything together...from dressing alike, to cooking together, to joining clubs and organizations together, and even attending Bible Study together. They were each other's backbone throughout college and are grateful for the many milestones in life that they have been able to experience together. Bredae and the bride agree that although they are no longer right across the hall from each other, they still feel as connected as ever.

Bridget and the bride completed their graduate school program together. They have been friends for over 6 years. The two originally bonded over their love for their field of study, and the friendship blossomed into talking every single day. It is rare that they will buy a new outfit or accessory or try a new hairstyle without running it by each other first. The two talk about about everything under the sun. Bridget is looking forward to being there for the bride as she enters into a new chapter in her life.

Journie is the niece of the groom. When the bride was living in South Carolina, she would pick Journie up to go shopping with her, attend social events with her, and even let Journie braid her hair. Journie would always keep the bride updated on the latest "tea" and their show "Bring It". Both the bride and Journie are obsessed with the color pink and consider themselves "girly girls". Both can't wait to get pretty for the big day. The bride is happy to be gaining a new niece.

Nadia is the oldest sister of the groom. The bride and Nadia bond over motherhood and sorority life. Due to being in different sororities, the two enjoy throwing "fun shade" about which sorority is the best. The bride confides in Nadia for career advice and real life advice, and knows that anything that is said will come from a good place. The bride is excited to be gaining another big sister to look up to.

Quanisha is the bride's friend from college. The two met while working at their university's library. They have been friends for over 9 years. The bride knows that she can be herself 100% with Quanisha and vice versa. They are always one call away and feel that they can talk to each other about anything.
