Maid of Honor
We met my sophomore year of college, and I immediately knew that Brooke was someone I wanted in my corner. Over the years our friendship has grown so much. Life looks very different now than it did back in college. One thing that has never changed is the love and support that Brooke and I share. Brooke is such a genuine and kind soul. I am so lucky to have her as my best friend and my Maid of Honor!
Bridesmaid
We met in our college Spanish class and immediately clicked. We have the same sense of humor and love all things Adam Sandler. Haggs and I hung out for the first time outside of class at the Westchester Mall, and we laughed the entire time. Haggs has been by my side ever since!
Bridesmaid
Molly and I met Freshman year of college. We were in so many of the same psych classes and we had very different study habits. I remember having a very long and emotional heart to heart with Molly, and feeling like she really understood me. I’m so grateful for our continued friendship after all of these years.
Bridesmaid
We also met in college! Amy was one of those friends who I was always so excited to see. I distinctly remember walking into a room and being so overjoyed to see her. As we’ve gotten older our friendship has grown, and she is someone who I can always count on. Amy is always such a good voice of reason, and shares a lot of the same values as I do. She is such a warm and wonderful human being.
Bridesmaid
Lauren is my most fashionable cousin. From the time that we were little, Lauren was helping me pick out my outfits. Lauren and I have always had such a special relationship, and we’re always giggling about something. Lauren was actually the first person I told about Kiah! We have always been more like sisters than cousins.
Bridesmaid
Elana is also my cousin! Elana has always had my back, and has always understood the way my brain works. We even lived close to each other for a few years, which was wonderful. Elana was the first family member to meet Kiah, and she welcomed Kiah in with open arms right away. We have always been able to talk about anything and support each other. I also love that our chosen career fields overlap so much and that we get to share our experiences with each other! I’m so grateful to have her as a part of my wedding party!
Bridesman
Josh is my cousin! As kids we really bonded during our summers in the Berkshires, pretending to be squirrels in the forest. One summer we wanted to start a driftwood business. The plan was to sell driftwood to our neighbors, but we soon realized that they could easily go down to the lake and get it themselves! No matter the scheme, we always went back to fishing at the lake. Now as adults we get to share our love of the Berkshires with our spouses!
Best Brother
Jonathan is my brother, he has always been the person I admire the most, and now he gets to share that privilege with Kiah! Jonathan is clever and always has something funny to say. He also is kind and warm. He shows up for the people that he cares about in such a special way. Jonathan has been such a guiding light in my life. I am so lucky to be his little sister!
Kiah's Best Brother
Sonny is my best friend in the entire world! I call him twin even though we're not actually, simply because we are as close to being the same person as it gets! I am blessed to not only have the best big brother I could ever ask for, but also a friend, a confidant, a dance partner, and greatest supporter. Sonny truly knows me like the back of his hand and understands me in a truly special way. There's no better brother, and that's why he's my best brother and right hand for my special day!
Maid of Honor
Kiah’s Maid of Honor! We met in undergrad and we worked together at Chipotle in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania! We have been in each other’s lives through what feels like hell and back and we always have nothing but unconditional love for each other, and it’s always beautifully been like that. Ashley came into my life when I desperately needed to find that genuine support and kindness, and I’m infinitely grateful to have Ashley as my maid of honor!
Bridesperson
Kiah’s Bridesperson! Kaya and I met volunteering for an LGBTQ+ employee resource group, but it wasn’t until Kaya left the company that our friendship truly effloresced into its own beautiful blossom. Alike in more ways than just our names, friendship with Kaya has always been effortless as if we’ve known each other many lifetimes. Through the good, the bad, the marvelous and the mysterious, Kaya is a friend and family through and through…and I won’t be offended when you inevitably mix up our names 🥲
Bridesmaid
Kiah's Bridesmaid! When Fara and I met, it was like we'd known each other our entire lives. We clicked instantly, and the rest is history! Our friendship is so fun, honest, creative, and open. Fara is a special human with a special heart! Fara works in the same line of work as I do and never ceases to amaze me! Fara is extremely talented, creative, compassionate, considerate, and generous! Spending time with Fara always refills my cup and I'm constantly learning. There aren't words to express my gratitude for our friendship, for it is truly unique and special, as is Fara!
Bridesmaid
Kiah’s Bridesmaid Rylee and I met at work. Every time we’re together we laugh ourselves into side stitches and tears and yet I can go to her with anything, knowing that I am safe, seen and exquisitely understood. Rylee’s friendship is a treasure and I’m blessed to have her be a part of this special day!
Bridesmaid
Kiah’s Bridesmaid! McKenzie and I met at work and it was immediately and absolutely clear she’s an astounding teacher, has a great sense of humor and a genuine heart of gold! Me and my BIG personality gave McKenzie no choice but to be my friend and I could not be happier. McKenzie is the friend you want in your corner! She is so loyal, compassionate, and generous!
Bridesman
Kiah's Bridesman! Ronan had no choice in our friendship, because I had made up my mind that we would be friends when we met! Ronan is wildly intelligent, but by far and large his heart is his greatest and most beautiful asset. Ronan is compassionate, driven, kind, generous, and will never waste a bite of food! Few people work as hard and diligently as Ronan! He is someone you would be blessed to have on your team and have your back, and I certainly never take it for granted!
Bridesmaid
Kiah's Bridesmaid! Probably something about the name, but I knew that Rachael and I were going to be friends the day we met! We were in our first year of our graduate program and I set it in my mind that we would be friends. At that time, I had no idea how creative, funny, charismatic, compassionate, and unstoppable she is, but I did know she was one of the smartest people I had ever met! Rachael has such a pure and genuine heart and there wasn't a doubt in my mind she should be a part of my special day!
Bridesmaid
Kiah's Bridesmaid! Nikki and I met in the thick of COVID when I first started my career in Applied Behavior Analysis. I had no idea how our friendship would blossom and how we would support each other through so many changes, successes, setbacks, and wins! Nikki is extremely considerate, passionate, driven, and persistent. She is a true friend and has been supportive of all of my endeavors. I hope one day to be such a tireless, loving, and committed mother the way Nikki is to her amazing son!
Bridesmaid
Kiah's Bridesmaid! Summer and I instantly connected with our dorky, nerdy, and unique personalities! Summer's authenticity is the gift that keeps on giving! I didn't even know in that moment how valuable her character would be to help me through such difficult experiences in my career, and to this day, the sense of security and safety Summer's authenticity provides is a true gift. I am so grateful for this friendship, so grateful for her secret shot put skills (should have been an Olympian! although the Sp.Ed. field is lucky to have you), so grateful for the laughs, and so grateful for the lifetime of friendship ahead!
