It all began in August of 2023 where they both attended the same lifegroup at church! While there they became good friends and hung out on occasion! Kiah had the biggest crush on Kodi while they were friends but never expressed her feelings for him. Kodi on the other hand had not intentions of dating! It wasn't till mid April, Kodi finally expressed his feelings for Kiah and within 3 days later Kodi asked Kiah’s parents for permission to date her! In which they said yes! The moment they started dating everything felt so right they said. When you know it's your person, you know and that was the same feeling they mutually felt. They had been through so much together just in a few months of them dating they knew they were meant for each other! Growing together spiritually and individually these two knew God called them to one another! After months of dating things started getting more serious! In January Kodi asked Kiahs parents for permission to marry their daughter and on March 30th, 2025 Kodi asked Kiah to marry him in which she of course said YES!!! The proposal was even more special when Kodi proposed outside of what would eventually be their first home together! Now they're here getting ready to say "i do" so mark your calendar for August 15th, 2025- because that's when their next chapter begin!
