Our story began in 2019, quietly and unexpectedly, when we first met at work, both arriving early, neither knowing that something meaningful had already begun. What started as a passing moment of curiosity turned into admiration from afar, and eventually, a connection that lingered long before it had a name. In 2022, while we were both pursuing our master’s degrees, time seemed to pull us closer. Shared outings and long conversations became the highlight of our days, and what once felt casual slowly deepened into something undeniable. We talked about life, values, and the future we hoped to build, discovering, little by little, how naturally our hearts aligned. Even when life asked us to grow separately for a while, the connection never faded. There was always something gentle and unspoken between us, patiently waiting. When we found our way back to each other again, everything felt different, calmer, clearer, and unmistakably right. Being together felt like ease. Like peace. Like coming home. By 2025, we knew. What we shared was steady, certain, and deeply rooted in love and respect. Within a month, we were talking about forever, and when we eloped that October, no one who knew us was surprised. We were even gifted my parents’ first wedding bands, a beautiful reminder of the love we hope to honor and carry forward. At the heart of our story is a love built on patience, understanding, and quiet devotion. With each other, we’ve found safety, laughter, and a sense of belonging that words can’t quite capture.
