Khushboo and Mikhail met at the tender age of 14 in middle school. Mikhail had just moved to Georgia from California and Khushboo was crushing hard on the "cool guy" from Cali. She was already best friends with Mikhail's cousin, Courtney, so it was easy to scheme to be around him. Finally, they had the same health class in 7th grade and she instantly fell more in love with this goofy personality. Oblivious to all of Khushboo's signals, Mikhail had no idea how hard she was crushing, They talked on the phone all the time, and one day, Hunter (Mikhail's best friend, basically brother), grabbed the phone from Mikhail and asked out Khushboo for him.
