The most iconic silhouette in our city's skyline, the Wisconsin State Capitol is one of the tallest building in Madison, and the dome is one of the largest in the world. The 100+-year-old Capitol building is the focal point of the city, right on the isthmus between lakes Mendota and Monona (you can even see both lakes from the outdoor observation deck). Surrounding this architectural wonder is all the incredible food, art, shopping and things to do in downtown Madison.
12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Laughter, love, and a long-awaited "I do!" We can’t wait to celebrate with games, a delicious dinner, and words from the heart. Our dearest family members and friends, please prepare your special speeches to share with us. Your voices will make our evening complete as we dance into our new life together. Burrows Park has a beautiful stone open-air park shelter and there is a large open grassy area under the trees overlooking the lake. The park shelter has two stone fireplaces inside that can be used to make a wood burning fire.
