When do I need to RSVP?

When should I arrive at the ceremony? Reception?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 1:30 pm so please arrive no later than 1:15pm to get settled. No need to take off shoes before entering the Grand Hall Cocktail hour begins at 5:30 pm but feel free to come 20-30 mins beforehand to check out the venue. Mind the Gap! There is a slight gap (2 hour) for transportation time between the ceremony and the reception. Some suggestions to fill the gap is to grab a meaty bite of food or sweet treat in Chinatown or freshen up in the hotel room (should be on the way to the reception venue).

What's the dress code?

Cocktail attire or Semi-formal (Bonus points for no black or white outfits, encouraging color :D) The temple asks for more modest outfit during the ceremony (cover shoulders, outfits to knee-length (or have a cover-up), and conservative necklines)

Your invite has all the plus-ones (including kids) that are allowed for the wedding. Please do not bring unregistered guests as our vendors require a strict guest count.

1. Pinkerton's BBQ 2. Truth BBQ 3. The Pit Room 4. Roegels, Feges, and Corkscrew - not hyped places, less lines and chiller are the top ones in Houston. Kshitij disliked the Pit Room but your mileage can vary. These are all crowdsourced answers.
