Our love story has one consistency - its inevitability
Jonah met Kharly a number of ways. First, and a sign of the times, they matched on a dating app. Unfortunately, these messages would go unnoticed (JS edit: ignored) - until Kharly's best friend began seeing his college teammate. An in. What followed was a long string of pursuit, many attempted set-ups, and ignored bids. Kharly had yet to discover that Jonah was more than a pretty-face, and dodged his advances. The universe (and Jonah) persisted. Friendships overlapped and their paths continued to cross. Kharly remained at arm's length - until one day, while checking Instagram at work, Jonah noticed Kharly posted a photo only seconds prior. The photo was a bird's eye view of Times Square, taken directly behind the New Year's ball. This perplexed Jonah, as it was the exact view he was seeing from his desk. Kharly worked on the 35th floor of Seven Times Square. And Jonah? The 36th. Upon hearing this, Kharly finally agreed to meet for coffee in Bryant Park, which she later revealed was solely to alleviate any future awkward elevator rides. On that first date, Jonah laid out the non-negotiables Kharly needed to know in order to spend their lives together. Kharly kiddingly obliged. By the end of that date, she was confident that she was no longer kidding. The two have yet to leave each other's side. Jonah and Kharly's love was nothing if not inevitable, and they cannot wait to shout it from the rooftops with the people they love most.
