Things To Do

We are so excited to share with you a list of all our West Michigan favorites. We hope you love the area as much as we do!

Restaurants

There are WAY to many wonderful restaurants in the area! But some of are favorites for lunch and dinner are New Holland, HopCat, Curragh Irish Pub, and Hops at 84 East. These are all in Downtown Holland! While you're there don't forget to make a stop at Kilwins Chocolate and Ice Cream Shop. For brunch you can't go wrong with Deboers Bakery or Windmill Restaurant!

Downtown Holland

78 E 8th Street, Holland, MI 49423

Just two blocks from Hope College (where we met!), Holland's downtown streets offer over 100 locally owned shops, galleries, eateries, and brew pubs. We went on our first date at Mizu Sushi in Downtown Holland!

Tunnel Park

66 N Lakeshore Avenue, Holland, MI 49424

Beautiful beach along Lake Michigan with sand dunes and a great playground for kids! The best spot to watch the sunset.

Windmill Island Gardens

1 Lincoln Avenue, Holland, MI 49423

A wonderful place to experience the town's Dutch heritage, walk through beautiful gardens, and see the last working windmill allowed to leave the Netherlands in 1964.

Holland Farmers Market

150 West 8th Street, Holland, MI 49423

Over 75 local farmers and vendors come together to create a beautiful and lively farmers market in Downtown Holland. A wonderful activity for Saturday morning before brunch!

Captain Sundae

365 Douglas Avenue, Holland, MI 49424

West Michigan's favorite place for ice cream, home of the famous Tommy Turtle Sundae. Delicious ice cream and a fun mini golf course!

Kollen Park

240 Kollen Park Drive, Holland, MI 49423

One of Holland's most beautiful parks with fishing along the boardwalk, a playground, and a picnic shelter. This is where Travis proposed!

Saugatuck

Saugatuck, MI 49453

A charming little town on the lake with art galleries, coffee shops, and locally owned stores. Just twenty minutes south of Holland!

Saugatuck Dune Rides

6495 Blue Star Highway, Saugatuck, MI 49453

Fun adventure on the Saugatuck sand dunes. Buggy drivers point out lakeshore dunes, the lost town of Singapore, and local vegetation/wildlife on a rugged offroad trail.

For all the days along the way
