How Khandice and Henry Fell in Love

December 1st, 2019

I (Henry) sent the first message to Khandice about her interest in anime. Nervous but confident enough that she would reply I went out to get gas for my car. When I saw her message back, I was ecstatic. I replied and we went from there until the next day. I messaged her "Good morning gorgeous ;)". I was left on read. I was horrified, embarrassed and most of all felt pathetic. I went on with my workday and decided to shoot my shot again. She replied back and profusely apologized that she "missed" my message. The reason why Khandice didn't respond much that day, was that she was at a WWE event, with her brother. Today, she tells me that she didn't plan on responding if I didn't message her the next day because she thought I was just playing games. I was understanding and glad that I shot my shot again. From there we messaged every single day and chatted with one another. I had made a previous plan with my friend Robert Davis to go to Disney. With no idea how to get home, Khandice suggested that she would pick me up. The day I came back from Disney, Robert told me to be safe and if I needed a place to stay or a ride home, he would be willing to drive me the next day. We honestly thought I was going to be in one of those lost chilling documentaries, but I thought I would look cool if I escaped. Khandice arrived and picked me up. No eye contact but I can still see how beautiful her eyes were. We talked the whole way down from Philadelphia to Lancaster, and she continued to avoid looking at me. Khandice needed gas and I showed her to Sheetz. As she was filling up her gas tank, I noticed she was looking at me and I looked at her; when we made eye contact, she quickly diverted her gaze away. In my opinion, I thought that was adorable. She stopped by my house, and that was when we shared our first kiss. Now she is to be my wife and I, her husband. There have been many trials and tribulations, but every moment has been completely worth it.
