The Legacy Museum

Turmoil in Montgomery, AL marked the beginning of the Civil Rights Movement. The Legacy Museum takes you through African American history in a vast array of videos and displays. There are two parts to this facility: the museum and the memorial. There is a shuttle that will transport you between the two.

Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church

Montgomery is full of history! This church is where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. held many meetings and divised plans on how to engage those filled with hate, in love. The two ladies that oversee operations at the church give an incredible tour. You'll enjoy it for sure!
