"Nikah" is the Arabic term for the wedding. It is a traditional Islamic ceremony where an Imam- a Muslim pastor- will wed the bride and groom.
We kindly ask that you remain seated during the ceremony. We have an expert team to photograph and document this special moment. We will gladly share the images after the wedding! We appreciate your understanding.
The bride and groom will be wearing traditional Indian outfits. You are welcome to wear Indian, Western or anything from your culture if you so desire. We want you looking your best in what is most comfortable to you. Suggestions: Semi-formal attire: A cocktail-length dress or dressy separates for women and a suit and tie for men. Indian attire: Lehenga, Sari, Salwar suit for women. Kurtas, Vests, Sherwanis for men. Feel free to reach out to us if you need help or suggestions of where you can find these!
We ask guests to refrain from wearing red or white.
We will have a selection of catered Indian foods from a local favorite restaurant of ours! There will be a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. All the meat will be halal.
