In June of 2023, two souls roamed the barren wastelands of online dating, nearing their last hopes. Barry and Khadijah searched for someone true, something worth fighting for, something everlasting. Exactly a week after he'd been baptized in his home church, and praying for a change to come into his life, he received a message from a hungry girl asking about his cooking. It was Khadijah! It was at this time that God's will went into motion, introducing a connection that would feed both of their souls. Three years, one dog, an apartment, and one kneel later, Barry and Khadijah are tying the knot. On June 7th, 2025, the love and belonging they'd sought for so long became even closer in reach.
