Please arrive atleast 20 minutes early at the Mosque to ensure we start on time.
We encourage our guests to go all out and dress up as if they're headed to the red carpet! Guests are expected to be dressed in formal and modest attire. For example: Formal floor- length dresses for women & suits (ties optional) for men. Guests are also encouraged to heavily accessorize if they wish. The more glamorous, the better! Religious Ceremony Dress Code: All guests are invited to attend the religious ceromony, if they wish. Please keep in mind the following to repect the Islamic Mosque: -You will be expected to remove your shoes upon entry. Shoe racks/specific areas are designated for shoes inside. -Women should bring a shawl/scarf/cover-up to cover their arms and hair while in the mosque. -Dresses need to be floor length. Please feel free to contact the bride if there is any question about dress code!
No. The hall we picked accomodates for a smaller-scale wedding party. Thus, we sent out invitations specifically to our closest family and friends and cannot accomodate plus-ones for everyone. We thank you in advance for understanding.
We kindly ask that guests provide monetary gifts instead of physical items. Cash, checks, gift cards, or venmo are preferred options. Any gift is greatly appreciated and will help us toward the next chapter in our lives! We thank you in advance. Please contact the bride at 203-510-0884 if Venmo is your preferred way to provide your gift.
There is ample parking at both the mosque and reception. No street parking required at these locations.
Yes. You will be in the same room but on opposite sides of it. (Men on one side and women on the other)
Any toddlers 2+ years are welcome! However, while we love babies, we kindly request that this be a baby-free wedding. Thank you for understanding.
