Two Lights State Park

Trail 10 mins from Portland — easy & scenic.

Mackworth Island

Favorite view/hangout spot in Portland. Perfect place to sit on a blanket and enjoy food trucks or walk along the many trails surrounding it.

Eastern Promenade

3.5 mile loop along the water with options to extend through eastern promenade

Back Cove Trail

Portland is beautiful in September and close to other desirable cities such as Kennebunk, Freeport, Boothbay Harbor, Bar Harbor and Acadian National Park if looking to make a trip out of it!
