What should I wear to the ceremony and reception?

When should we book rooms at the resort?

Answer

Ideally, as soon as possible. There is no guarantee that the resort will have rooms or room upgrades if you decide to book later. There is a slim chance that more rooms will open as the resort eases on their pandemic protocols. If you don't want to take that chance, we have a travel agent that have several rooms on hold. We will need to know if you intend to book a room through the travel agent by the end of September.

Can we book a hotel/place outside the resort and come to the wedding ceremony?

Answer

No. The resort has a strict security policy not to allow any non-resort guests onto the resort property.

Does the travel agent help with flights?

Answer

No. You will need to locate flights yourselves. The travel agent has mentioned that flight tickets are usually lowest around 5 to 6 months out, so September may be the best time to look.

How long should I/we stay?

Answer

Please plan to stay for at least three nights overlapping the wedding day. The wedding is on Sunday, 2/20/2022. Monday, 2/21/2022 is President's Day so you may have that day off as well.

My passport is expired. When should I renew it?

Answer

ASAP. Renewing a passport can take up to 4 months if you have an old passport. It could potentially be longer if you do not have an old passport to send in.

What should I bring to the resort?

Answer

Your Dancing Shoes! Sunscreen, swimwear, casual attire for the day. Some of the restaurants have a dress code "Dinner Dress Code: Casual Elegance For ladies: Long pants, capri pants, or skirt with a blouse, or a dress For gentlemen: Long dress pants and collared shirt Casual shoes or elegant sandals must be worn. T-shirts, tank tops, shorts, beach sandals, and flip flops are not allowed."
