Maid of Honor
Karen and Rebecca met through work at Joslin Diabetes Center, and became close friend (like sisters) after their first business trip to DC together, where they chit chat nonstop in Cantonese throughout the entire trip. Their favorite work activity was mid-afternoon Starbucks coffee run, especially at times of "buy one get one" promotion. Joslin colleagues often mistaken the two of them at work, despite their distinctive height difference.
Best Man
Jeff and Steve met in the lunch line at Mount Ida - mortician school. Jeff asked, "You want to get out of here and go a grab a beer?" That beer 20 years ago has led to endless experiences in life. It opened up a whole new world of friendship and life moments. Jeff has always included Steve as part of his family in just about anything and everything. We are both thankful and thrilled to have Jeff to play a special part at the wedding.
Best Dog
Um... he is simply the best dog, no explanation needed.
Best Man
Steve's first memory of Dave was in microbiology class at Plymouth State. The memorable encounter started with a question, "Hey 'Keiser' I hear your going to Puerto Rico. You're not going to be lame when we go down there are you?" Not exactly the way one would expect a life long friendship to start, but it has endured. That encounter has lead to countless adventures that are woven into the stories that have been told. Steve has always been made a part of Dave's family wherever they have gone. We are excited and grateful to have Dave there for our important day.
Officiant
John was there to witness the day Rebecca and Steve met and the evolvement of their relationship. It is only fitting for John to help the couple to make it official on their BIG DAY!
