and

Hailey Lockner

Cloudcroft, NM

Our Story

Keygan grew up in the mountain town of Cloudcroft, New Mexico, while Hailey was raised in Johnson City, Texas. Fate began weaving their story when Hailey’s family moved to Cloudcroft during her high school years. The two first met as sophomores, sharing a few classes and both being athletes for the school. They weren’t especially close then, but the quiet foundation of something greater was being set. After graduation, life carried them down separate paths—Hailey pursued her bachelor’s degree and played collegiate volleyball, while Keygan began his service with the Coast Guard. Years later, at just 19, their paths crossed again when both returned home. They decided to spend the day hiking at the Hippie Dip. That simple outing turned into something unforgettable— laughter, effortless connection, and their first kiss beneath the waterfall. From that moment, everything changed. Though distance still separated them, their love only grew stronger. Daily FaceTime calls, handwritten letters, surprise flowers, and packages became their lifeline. Just two months into their relationship, Keygan had Hailey’s handwriting from one of her letters tattooed on his arm—a bold, lasting symbol of the love they both knew was forever. On April 11, 2024, after months of prayerful reflection and long-distance devotion, they chose to elope. It was simple, sacred, and perfect—just the two of them, standing before God, beginning the marriage their hearts had already committed to. “Forever” couldn’t wait any longer. Now, they are filled with joy as they prepare to celebrate that promise again—this time surrounded by family and friends on their two-year anniversary, with the wedding they’ve always dreamed of. Today, Hailey is chasing her dream of becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy while Keygan continues to serve faithfully as a leading machinery technician in the Coast Guard. Together, they share a love for the gym, concerts, golf, music festivals, and adventures with their sweet pups Denali and Kenai. Looking back, it’s clear that God’s hand has guided every step of their journey—from the timing, to the distance, to that waterfall kiss that changed everything. What began as two classmates has grown into a love story marked by faith, resilience, and joy. And now, surrounded by all the people who have cheered them on, they can’t wait to celebrate the love that was always meant to be.
