YES - a passport is required to enter Mexico from the US. If you do not have a passport, we recommend applying ASAP as wait times can be very long. Even though your passport may be valid, the airline can deny you boarding if your passport expires within 6 months AFTER travel. Do not risk it, renew if you are due!
There are 2 airports. Tulum Airport (Just opened - Available depending on where you are flying from) & Cancun Airport. Both are just about equal distance to the resort (1 hour).
All guests are REQUIRED to stay at UNICO 20°87° and must book directly with our link - please use the link on the "TRAVEL" page to reserve your accommodations. We have a room block for our guests.
YES! From the moment you arrive at the resort, your food, drink, and all activities are included (except excursions or spa services). Unico 20°87° offers unlimited high-end dining at four restaurants, plus one high-end cafe, 24 hour room service, poolside snacks, and cocktails. We recommend bringing cash for tips (no need to exchange to Pesos as the resort accepts US Dollars.)
The weather will be nice and warm. The temperature in Riviera Maya ranges from a low of 75°F and a high of 86°F in February. This is the best time of the year to visit.
WELCOME PARTY: The dress code is all white beach cocktail! Men may wear light khaki bottoms. WEDDING: The dress code is beach cocktail. For ladies, this includes cocktail dresses. For men, this includes suit (tie optional). Because of the heat, lightweight fabrics such as linen are perfect for the occasion. If you have any questions, feel free to text us. Neither events will be on the sand.
Though not required, we recommend making dinner reservations at least two weeks BEFORE you arrive, in order to make sure you get your desired time and restaurant. You can make reservations through the Unico app, 30 days prior to your arrival. You can also make reservations via email at prearrivalhost@unicohotelrm.com. *they take walk-ins and reservations while on the resort - booking ahead ensures larger groups can eat together*

- Download the app before you go! (Unico 2087 in the App store) It will make your trip much smoother. In the app you can check out the daily activity schedules on the property, make dinner reservations, order room service and much more! - Don't forget to bring sunscreen and any over-the-counter meds you may need! These are available at the resort, but can be pricey. - Don't forget your passport!!! - Although not required, all servers and resort staff appreciate tips. Small bills are best whether it be Pesos or USD. ($1, $5, $10 for tipping) - Pro Tip - bring an insulated tumbler/cup to keep your drinks cool while lounging in the sun. The bartenders will make your drink in your cup if you ask! - The resort provides pool/beach towel.
