If all goes according to the hopes and dreams of a sunny day... The ceremony will be outside at the top pond location of BHWP; the cocktail hour will be outside in the big meadow; dinner will be under the covered pavilion; and dancing will be on the dance floor under the stars :) So pretty much 100% outside. Do your rain dances ahead of time and cross your fingers please!
Yes they are! If you follow the main road of Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve up the hill to the visitor's center, they can direct you to keep following the road to the New Pond ceremony location, next to which there are TWO handicap parking spots. NOTE: There is no other parking directly next to the ceremony site. The rest of the parking is either at the bottom of the hill or through the small woods' pathway at the visitor's center. If you need access to the handicap parking please let us know ahead of time to make sure the two spots are available and reserved for those that need them :) There is also handicap parking directly next to the pavilion where the reception will be and a smooth walkway to the reception and bathrooms as well, no steps!
Clothes are the preferred option here. Cocktail hour attire. Something that says, "I look good, but I also like to party." Any of the below are perfecto... Cocktail attire/ Beach or garden party attire (summer suits and dresses) Casual (button down shirts or polos and summer sundresses or a skirt or pants or whateva!) Please do not wear white ;)
Dinner will be served family-style with plenty of options for everyone! However, if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies please let us know ahead of time with your RSVP so we can work with our caterers to provide a delicious option for you!
Yes, we encourage guests to post and share pictures! Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtags #MCFISHCAUGHTAFOX and #KEYTOADAMSHEART so we can keep track of all your pictures. That, AND we also ask you to be mindful of our hired professional photographers and not get in their way as they do their amazing jobs ;)
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event due to spacing and number limits. We also hope it will allow you to fully relax and enjoy the evening! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us. If you are from out of town and want the kiddos to come for the weekend that would be great fun! But if you need help with finding a sitter service for the wedding and reception itself, please let us know!
