We’re getting married!

Our story began in a place neither of us expected, IKEA. Keya worked upstairs in the showroom, while Josh worked downstairs in the warehouse. Although we passed each other often, we didn’t officially meet right away. Unbeknownst to Keya, Josh had already noticed her and as she later found out through her supervisor, he had a bit of a crush. Josh would regularly come upstairs to “pull orders” for the warehouse… though the real reason was to see Keya. Meanwhile, Keya didn’t give him much attention at all mainly because Josh always looked like he didn’t want anyone talking to him. If you know Josh then you know lol Eventually, Keya decided to take matters into her own hands. She wrote her phone number on a piece of paper and gave it to her supervisor, who later passed it along to Josh. And then… she waited. Josh waited several days before texting (yes, several 😅), but once he did, the rest was history. What started as a quiet workplace crush turned into conversations, laughter, and a connection that continued to grow into something truly special. From warehouse runs to showroom beginnings, we found each other in the most unexpected way. We’re so grateful that one handwritten phone number started a love that would last forever.
