FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal or cocktail attire: elegant, polished, and evening appropriate (gowns, cocktail dresses, suit and ties, dressy separates, etc). NO red or white/cream dresses or suits. NO green suits for men.

Question

Can I bring someone last minute who is not invited or did not RSVP?

Answer

No. Due to limited seating and meal counts, only guests who are invited and have RSVP'd ahead of time can attend. We appreciate your understanding as every seat is assigned in advance.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 3:30pm. If you arrive later than 4pm, you may not be able to attend the ceremony.

Question

Can I bring my child/children?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. We love little ones, but our wedding is adults-only. We kindly ask that no children be at the wedding.

Question

Can I take photos or use my phone during the ceremony?

Answer

No. Our ceremony is unplugged, meaning no phones or cameras out. We've hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture every moment, and we would love for you to be fully present with us.

Question

What kind of gifts do you prefer?

Answer

Your presence on our special day is the greatest gift! We kindly ask that guests DO NOT BRING PHYSICAL gifts. If you wish to bless us with something, we have a Newlywed Fund available on our registry page. Contributions are made through Venmo to avoid you being charged a credit card processing fee.

Question

Will it be open bar or cash?

Answer

We will have an open bar for our guests to enjoy the night with us. We will have three specialty his/hers/ours signature cocktails.

Question

Should I bring cash?

Answer

If you wish to participate in our traditional "Money Dance" with the Bride and Groom and/or leave cash tips for the bartender, then yes, please bring cash.

Question

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

No. The venue does not allow outside alcohol. We'll have plenty of drinks available for you to enjoy. Just come ready to celebrate!

Question

What will the reception dinner be like?

Answer

Buffet-style. The dinner will be traditional Mexican food catered by a Latin-owned family small business.

Question

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (grass) and the reception will be indoors.

Question

What happens if it starts to rain during the ceremony or cocktail hour?

Answer

If it's light rain or a small sprinkle, we will proceed outdoors as planned. If it becomes a significant downpour, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be moved inside the barn to ensure everyone stays dry. Please be flexible and understanding with these last minute changes. Please check the weather prior to leaving and come prepared.

Question

What should I expect at Cocktail Hour?

Answer

Immediately after the ceremony, join us for cocktail hour with refreshing drinks, appetizers, and music. It's a relaxed time to mingle, explore the venue, play yard games like cornhole, and settle in before the reception begins. The Bride and Groom will most likely not be at cocktail hour as they will be off taking photos.

Question

What time does the reception end?

Answer

The reception ends at 11pm. All amplified music must be off by then and the reception must be cleared out by 12am.

Question

Is there parking onsite?

Answer

Yes, the parking is on site and on gravel towards the back behind the coffee shop.
