Welcome to our marriage celebration!

When I connected with Kathleen, I did not expect my life to change so drastically so quickly. I remember first texting her and feeling that there was something different about her, but I was skeptical, since I initially didn’t want a long distance relationship. But that feeling kept growing, so one night I called her and wanted to get to know her at a deeper level. What I thought would have been some short chats throughout the week turned into long conversations where we discovered our shared values around God, family, and life. The more I got to know Kathleen, the more I started loving her and everything that makes her so special: her fire for God, her loyalty to family, and her ambitious yet humble approach to life. I never thought that I would find someone so right, and here she was. I had to meet this woman in person, I thought to myself, so we booked flights to see each other. That first weekend together, I had so much fun with her, and it was pretty soon after that that I was determined to make her my wife. After more weekends together, meeting the most important people in her life, and seeing her work through challenges, I am more confident and more excited than ever to spend the rest of our lives together. Kathleen has an enormous heart, a sharp mind, and a rock-solid hope and optimism in God’s faithfulness. I cannot wait to walk through God’s story with her and to kick off our lifelong commitment with a celebration with our dearest friends and family.

After my first phone call with Kevin, I knew there was a potential for a serious long-term relationship with this man. During the first two weeks of getting to know Kevin by phone and FaceTime, I found myself strongly attracted to (and in awe of) his strong faith, character values, admirable work ethic and discipline, and deep care for family. I thought to myself, “wow I really found a special gem in this one.” Not before long, it became very clear that we fit each other very well, as we aligned in most of our interests, values, and visions. During our first weekend date in NorCal, I witnessed Kevin’s chivalry, leadership, thoughtfulness, and most importantly his heart of worship for God. I knew then that I could envision a future with this man. Now that a few months have passed since then, I can say, with full confidence, that I am ready to make this life-long commitment to this man before the Lord and our dearest friends and family. Kevin is a man of great character, a great leader, and a great partner, and I couldn't be more excited to journey this adventure called life together.
